Is Anything Relevant Post C19?
Only for the ones we love do we remain, painted dolls in the playhouse of this life ― Claire North
It is touted to be a better alternative investment to empty properties across the country — and if governance has a better understanding of the economics of the homegrown hospitality industry and how it can profit from the support of such activities, it will and can be a progressive change for both property owners and economic coffers. Short-term and long-term rentals, for travellers and global nomads would benefit such localities when hotels often fully booked or closed until the next merger and acquisition (read, forever) undertakings.
The most profitable AirBNB in France is in Ramatuelle and the least, in Nantes, and we're talking of one of the most visited countries in the world where aged hotels get older past Tutankhamun, and Napoleon apart. These days, in Asia the homegrown hospitality industry has taken a bent with the C19 charade—Now that the world is aware of the end game tying in climate change and the pharmaceutical industries, how will this industry previously in reverse gears, thrust forwards towards a better 2023?
Is it really “China virus”, “China plague” and “Kung Flu”? — Or is it Strategic Communications by those who fear themselves most? Nobody plays the trump cards on racism, climate change and pandemics more than those who must disrupt the death industry against the universe itself.
According to a recent study ... (and don't adults just love charts and figures?)
The COVID-19 impact on world scheduled passenger traffic for year 2022 compared to 2019 levels:
- Overall reduction of 24% to 25% of seats offered by airlines
- Overall reduction of 1,260 to 1,273 million passengers (-28% to -29%)
- Approx. USD 172 to 174 billion loss of gross passenger operating revenues of airlines
Did you know that Europe accounted for half of the world international traffic in 2021, and Asia over the other half?
Who created such foolish disruption, all to enforce a series of potential sanctions on a divide and conquer game of War and Peace? — Certainly not Vladimir Putin, nor Russia! Would lateral relations suffice in the destruction of what seemed an amicable and well regulated relationship between states?
Awake, we know the answers don't we?
So the damage's done, and who's picking up the pieces of such psychosis? And if you're smart enough to do a serious SWOT post C19, to see who gained from such a charade, you will clearly see who the masters were of the old world order.
It isn't enough to have an empty property in someone else's backyard, you need to strategise (british spelling please) the game and come up with a streak. How niche is your bed and breakfast — who are your clients? What do they do? How did they travel to where you are? What facilities are you offering your clientele? It is afterall your bread and butter isn't it?
